What appkeep promises you, and what you agree to in return.

appkeep is a property-maintenance planning service. It helps you plan the upkeep of your own home: what each part of the house is likely to cost, when the cost lands, and whether a repair year or a replacement year is coming. It serves homes in Finland, the Netherlands and Sweden for now; the rest of the EU is next, and other countries after that.

appkeep is operated by Rebel Strategy Lab Oy, a limited company registered in Finland and based in Helsinki. When you open an account, your agreement is with Rebel Strategy Lab Oy. These terms are with the person who holds the account.

appkeep currently runs as a product within Rebel Strategy Lab Oy. We intend to move it into its own company in the future. If that changes who you are contracting with, we will tell you before it happens (see Section 8).

appkeep is for private individuals looking after their own home. You can use it for the residence you live in, or for another home you own privately.

It is not for commercial or professional use. A property manager cannot run client buildings or a portfolio on a personal appkeep account. If you manage property professionally, that is a separate arrangement: write to hello@appkeep.org.

appkeep costs €37 a year, VAT included. You pay when you sign up, and your subscription begins straight away.

Invited waitlist members are the exception. For them, a two-month free period begins when they register their home, and during it they use appkeep in full, with no card and no charge. When it ends, appkeep continues at €37 a year only if they choose to subscribe: nothing rolls over on its own, and if they do nothing, no money moves.

Either way, a subscription renews once a year at the same price, and you can cancel in one click or ask for a full refund on the terms in the two sections below.

You can leave whenever you want, and within 14 days of paying you can get the full amount back.

Cancel any time

Cancel your subscription whenever you like, in one click from your account. It stops at the end of the period you have already paid for, so nothing is cut off early and nothing new is charged. We do not ask why, and there is no chain of "are you sure" screens to get through.

14 days to change your mind, with a full refund

The law gives you a 14-day right to withdraw from a service like this. We apply it as a full, unconditional refund. If you subscribe and then decide against it, you have 14 days from the day you were charged to cancel and get every cent back: no conditions, no part-used deductions, nothing held back. We do not ask you to sign this right away before you start, and using appkeep during those 14 days does not cost you the refund. We return the money within 14 days of hearing from you, by the method you paid with.

How to do either

You cancel, or ask for your refund, from your account, or by writing to hello@appkeep.org. You do not need to give a reason or fill in a form.

You can also withdraw from your contract here — a short two-step form that confirms your withdrawal and starts the full refund. It is open to you whether or not you can sign in.

A paid subscription renews once a year, and we tell you before it does.

Your subscription runs for a year and then renews for another year at the same €37, VAT included. Before each renewal, we email you the date, the amount, and a one-click way to cancel if you would rather stop. A renewal never arrives unannounced.

appkeep gives you decision support and a maintenance plan built from research data and clearly-stated assumptions. The cost figures it shows are bands based on typical prices, not quotes for your specific house or job.

appkeep is not a survey, a building inspection, or professional legal, financial, or structural advice. You make the decisions. You choose your contractors and deal with them directly: appkeep never contacts a contractor on your behalf, and is not a party to any work you arrange.

appkeep is a tool, not a replacement for your judgement. It informs your decisions; it does not make them for you.

We may update these terms as appkeep grows or the law changes. If we make a change that affects a paid subscription you hold, we email you before it takes effect, so you can decide whether to continue. The date at the top always shows the current version.

These terms are governed by Finnish law. That does not take away the consumer protections of the country you live in: if you are in the EU, the mandatory consumer rights of your own country still apply.

If something goes wrong, email hello@appkeep.org first, as that is usually the fastest fix. If we cannot resolve it together and you are in Finland, you can contact the Consumer Advisory Service (kuluttajaneuvonta) for guidance and, if needed, refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariitalautakunta). If you live in another EU country, the equivalent consumer dispute body there is open to you.
